According to NikeBlog.com, the all black version of the highly anticipated Nike Metcon 2 will be released on January 30th. We’ve heard a lot of rumors about colors, styles, and release dates, but we don’t know what is true and what is just speculation.
We do know that a lot of people outside of the US (Korea, Japan, Dubai, Canada, etc.) have posted their new Metcon 2s on Instagram, so it probably won’t be long before we finally see them hit the U.S. One thing we do know is that as soon as we know anything, we will keep you posted!

The Metcon 1 changed the game, creating a nearly unanimously acclaimed new training model that firmly established Nike as a player in the new era of CrossFit-like workouts. Now, finally, the model’s long-awaited sequel is nearly here.
Several colorways of the Nike Metcon 2 will launch on January 30, updating the renowned performance of the original with subtly reworked construction — note the tweaked midfoot paneling and perforations — and a new plate embedded in the heel.
Below, check out the Nike Metcon 2 Blackout, a perfect blend of all-black everything but the vibrantly contrasting volt heel. It will hit stores January 30, part of the first crop of colorways.
