Ok Sooooo the GRID League is Drafting Real Life Super Heroes Now?!

Meet Eric Cardona of the San Francisco Fire.  His job is to excel at bodyweight movements during the match and to basically leverage off of his talents outside of the NPGL as a real life Super Hero…Just see for yourself.

Aside from being a dominant body-weight specialist for the NPGL, Eric Cardona of the San Francisco Fire has a pretty “super” day job.

“Most people don’t know that I’m a superhero. That’s one of my jobs,” Cardona said.

No, he’s not a masked vigilante who fights crime, but he does dress up as well-known superheroes and performs incredible acrobatic stunts for kids during parties.

It’s these body-weight skills that make him a powerful force in GRID, and he loves every minute of the sport.

“What do I love about the sport of GRID? Every aspect of it…the fact that men and women are on the same playing field going head-to-head, that’s awesome,” he said.

The idea of being a role model is what fuels him to keep going.

“Trying to be the best I can be is my motivation. Pushing myself to that next level and being the professional athlete that everyone looks up to and is inspired by,” he said.
