A Colorado Busboy Just Won $1,000,000 from an Epic Rope Climb on American Ninja Warrior

September 15, 2015

Until now no one has ever completed all four stages of the American Ninja Warrior course to claim the ultimate prize of a million dollars. Isaac Caldiero is a busboy from Fort Collins, Colorado, and just made history from his incredible upper body and grip strength, unparalleled body control, and an epic 50ft rope climb all on national television. Congrats to Isaac!

American Ninja Warrior has been through seven seasons and more than 3,500 people have attempted their courses, so the fact that Isaac is the only person to complete the entire challenge is a huge testament to his skill level and fitness.

Knowing it’ll take a history-making climb up Mt. Midoriyama to claim the million-dollar prize, Isaac Caldiero turns in a history-making ascent.

About American Ninja Warrior:
Esquire Network and NBC have teamed again to bring the heart-racing competition series, American Ninja Warrior, with hosts Matt Iseman, former NFL player Akbar Gbajabiamila, and co-host Kristine Leahy. The action-packed series follows competitors as they tackle a series of challenging obstacle courses in both city qualifying and city finals rounds across the country. Those that successfully complete the finals course in their designated region move on to the national finals round in Las Vegas, where they face a stunning four-stage course modeled after the famed Mt. Midoriyama course in Japan. The winner will take home a grand prize of $1,000,000. Although many have come close, no competitor has yet to achieve total victory and claim the prize.
