CrossFit HQ Delivers Three New Athlete Profiles: Brooke Wells, Annie Thorisdottir, and Your New Favorite CrossFitter, Chandler Smith!

May 26, 2016

The final week of Regionals for the 2016 CrossFit season starts tomorrow, and to help us gear up HQ dropped three new profiles—two with athletes that have yet to compete (Annie Thorisdottir and Brook Wells) and one with a guy we all fell in love with last week—Chandler Smith!

“You take the goods with the bads and sometimes they come together. I could’ve been at home and then no one would’ve seen me cry. I just would’ve been crying by myself.” First-time Atlantic Regional competitor Chandler Smith won the crowd over last weekend in Atlanta.

Brooke Wells abstract: Brooke Wells, who caught everyone’s attention last year when she qualified for the Games at the age of 19, talks about her joys, strengths and goals. Watch her compete at the Central Regional, May 27-29, at Games.CrossFit.com

Former champ Annie Thorisdottir reflects on her decision to withdraw from the competition at the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games and declares her intent to stand on top of the podium again in 2016.
