It is here. Championship Week has arrived. The training is done. The strategies have been laid out. It all comes down to execution and digging deep. Who will hoist the shiny new Pinnacle Trophy?

You can follow every aspect of Championship Week over the next several days as four NPGL teams battle it out for the ultimate GRID glory.

If you are in or near Anaheim, California, you need to come be a part of the TV audience and experience the world’s first professional coed sport, where men and women race side-by-side and compete against each other in a test of agility, strength, speed and strategy.

Concurrent with the NPGL matches will be four days of racing as amateur teams vie for $50,000 in cash and prizes in the inaugural GRID Invitational. And the weekend means kick back and enjoy, so we’ve got you covered with GRIDFest — food, drink, mini competitions with cash prizes, music and vendors.

Three NPGL Playoffs matches are being played at the Anaheim Convention Center. They all will stream live on GRID TV then air on TV later this month and in early October.

Wednesday, September 16

7 p.m. PT/ 10 p.m. ET

Western Conference Final: Phoenix Rise vs. San Francisco Fire

Thursday, September 17

7 p.m. PT/ 10 p.m. ET:

Eastern Conference Final: Boston Iron vs. DC Brawlers

Sunday, September 20

5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET:

NPGL Final: Western Conference winner vs. Eastern Conference winner

The two conference finals will feature the Everest match format. That’s the same as the 2014 NPGL Final, where the DC Brawlers defeated the San Francisco Fire for the inaugural season title.

The 2015 NPGL Final match format is Amazon, a new format that is going to mix things up. The new element “overturn” makes its debut with a rather heavy piece of equipment, and how about 50-lb stones to a 10-foot target? You’ll see the return of the back uprise element in the same race as the new toes-to-rings back uprise. Add in a snatch ladder, and Amazon is a solid GRID test. Click here to see the full breakdown of all 11 races in the Amazon match.

The GRID Invitational is an open tournament comprised of 16 homegrown GRID teams. They recruited fans and earned the right to travel to Anaheim and will play for $50,000 in cash and prizes. Matches will be played September 17-20, with the championship being played on September 20 from 1:30-3 p.m. PT, prior to the NPGL Final at 5 p.m. PT. That equals one GRID-packed week — especially Sunday — for our fans!

The GRID Invitational features a team from Hungary, one from Ireland and the rest from around the United States. Click here to see the bracket. Go to to learn more about the tournament and how you can get in on the action next year, either by building a team or finding one as a free agent.
