Hylete has had a really strong brand for a while now, and it looks like they will be a great fit for the NPGL this year. We’re sticking to our guns though when we say the Grid League should put the athletes’ numbers on their shorts and let the girls wear sports bras and let the guys go shirtless.
Matt Paulson, HYLETE co-founder and CIO, first saw live GRID racing at the 2014 Las Vegas Combine. The excitement hooked him and he knew his company could have long-term growth with the National Pro Grid League as a partner.
HYLETE was announced as the NPGL’s official apparel partner in April (https://www.npgl.com/content/posts/npgl-announces-deal-with-hylete-as-apparel-partner) and unveiled its innovative NPGL uniforms in May: (https://www.npgl.com/content/posts/unveiling-hyletes-innovative-new-npgl-uniforms)
“We want to empower athletes to perform at a high level,” Paulson said. “We feel like we found a great partner in the NPGL and a great place to showcase our products of the HYLETE brand.”
The NPGL uniforms are made with HYLETE’s proprietary fabric, a four-way stretch polyester spandex blend that wicks away moisture while providing full range of mobility for the athletes.
“We want the apparel to be the last thing that these athletes are thinking about while they’re racing and wile they’re competing,” Paulson said.
“We have so much to look forward to with this partnership, the snowball has just started just barely got tipped off the mountain and it’s not stopping.”
