Scott Panchik Ruptured his Plantar Fascia

Scott Panchik will have surgery at the end of this week to fix a ruptured plantar fascia in his foot. He’s been dealing with pain since before the Games and will stick to upper body workouts until he’s all healed. No pun intended.

“After dealing with excruciating pain BEFORE and DURING the games, I finally went in for an MRI after returning home.  Ruptured plantar facia which will result in surgery at the end of this week.  Looks like upper body focus for a little while!!! I will be sure to post some of the upper body workouts I will be doing along the way for anyone else going through lower body injuries.” –Scott Panchik

 

We honestly had no clue what a ruptured plantar fascia meant, but thankfully hat’s why Google and YouTube were invented… The video below explains it all.
