The Mountain Sets World Record at the 2016 Arnold by Throwing a 56lb Weight over a 19.5ft Bar

March 26, 2016

Imagine swinging a 56lb kettle bell. Now imagine trying to throw that same kettle bell 20 feet in the air… Exactly. Watch Hathor Bjornsson (aka The Mountain) set a new world record by doing just that at the 2016 Arnold Strongman Classic.

Rogue Athlete Hafthór “The Mountain” Björnsson set a new world in the weight over bar during the Arnold Sports Festival. The Mountain hurled a 25KG weight over his head and over a 19′ 5″ pole. The feat took place during the Rogue Record Breakers event on Sunday after the Arnold Strongman Classic.
